BOPS GOLF TEAM TAKE 2010 OFF
The BOPS Golf Team will not be returning to the Bridges for the 2010 season. The team had some roster issues and felt that they couldn't field a full team for the entire season. The team will look to rebuild this summer and get a team together in 2011. BOPS members that are interested in being on the 2011 team please contact a current team member today.

2009 SEASON

BOPS GOLF TAKE 3RD AND 5TH PLACE IN LEAGUE SCRAMBLE
The BOPS Golf Team returned to the Bridges for the league ending Scramble. BOPS entered two teams total. BOPS Team #1 was Ryan Cool, Eric Willet, Brett Keeney and Andrew Rucker. Together they shot 7 under par and won 3rd place. BOPS Team #2 was Al Kuhn Sr., Al Kuhn Jr., Dave Rentsel and Dan Arter. Together Team #2 shot 4 under par and finished just outside the money positions in 5th place. It overall was a fun and relaxing night for both teams. That will wrap up the 2009 Season for BOPS, but they will give the game of golf another try till next summer.

BOPS GOLF LOSE 18-22 VS HERFF JONES AND TAKE 10TH PLACE
The BOPS Golf Team returned to the Bridges for week #20 the final match of the 2009 season on Wednesday. BOPS posted a 18-22 loss to the Herff Jones Team. In cart #1 Ryan Cool shot a 42 and won 6-4 in the A position. Ride along partner Eric Willet shot a 36 and won 6-4 in the B position. In cart #2, Brett Keeney shot a 44 and lost 4-6 in the C position. Ride along partner Al Kuhn, Sr. shot a 45 and lost 2-8 in the D position. The boys in Orange end the season in 10th place and were 34.5 points away from the 6th place playoff position. BOPS will give the league scramble a try on the 26th and then the league party on the 9th. After those events, BOPS will have to wait to give the game of golf another try till next summer.

The BOPS Golf Team returned to the Bridges for week #19 of the 2009 season on Wednesday. BOPS posted a 17-23 loss to the Remax Team. In cart #1 Ryan Cool shot a 40 and lost 2.5-7.5 in the A position. Ride along partner Brett Keeney shot a 38 and won 8-2 in the B position. In cart #2, Al Kuhn, Jr. shot a 46 and lost 3-7 in the C position. Ride along partner Dan Arter shot a 63 and lost 3.5-6.5 in the D position. The boys in Orange will give it one last try on the final night of the regular season next week on position night.

The BOPS Golf Team returned to the Bridges for week #18 of the 2009 season on Wednesday. BOPS posted a bad 14-26 loss to the Winners Circle Team. In cart #1 Ryan Cool shot a 42 and lost 2.5-7.5 in the A position. Ride along partner Eric Willet shot a 41 and lost 2.5-7.5 in the B position. In cart #2, Brett Keeney shot a 41 and won 5.5-4.5 in the C position. Ride along partner Dave Rentsel shot a 51 and lost 3.5-6.5 in the D position. The boys in Orange will give it another go around next week vs Remax.

The BOPS Golf Team returned to the Bridges for week #17 of the 2009 season on Wednesday. BOPS posted a 19.5-20.5 loss to the GM Wildasin Inc. Team. In cart #1 Ryan Cool shot a 41 and won 6-4 in the A position. Ride along partner Brett Keeney shot a 42 and tied 5-5 in the B position. In cart #2, Andrew Rucker shot a 50 and won 5.5-4.5 in the C position. Ride along partner Dave Rentsel shot a 49 and lost 3-7 in the D position. The boys in Orange will give it another go around next week vs Winners Circle.

The BOPS Golf Team returned to the Bridges for week #15 of the 2009 season on Wednesday and continued their winning ways posting a 21.5.5-18.5 victory over the S&S Flooring Team. In cart #1 Brett Keeney shot a 44 and won 6-4 in the A position. Ride along partner Ryan Cool shot a 44 and lost 4-6 in the B position. In cart #2, Andrew Rucker shot a 49 and won 7-3 in the C position. Ride along partner Dave Rentsel shot a 55 and lost 4.5-5.5 in the D position. BOPS hope to continue to move up in the standings since only the top 6 go to the playoffs at the end of the season. The new standings will be out soon. The boys in Orange will give it another go around next week on position night.

The BOPS Golf Team returned to the Bridges for week #14 of the 2009 season on Wednesday and returned to their winning ways posting a 23.5.5-16.5 victory over the DCI Management Team. The final 3 holes weren't played due to rain, so the individual scores are shown as a 0. In cart #1 Eric Willet won 5.5-4.5 in the A position. Ride along partner Brett Keeney won 6.5-3.5 in the B position. In cart #2, Ryan Cool won 5.5-4.5 in the C position. Ride along partner Andrew Rucker won 6-4 in the D position. BOPS posted a 19.5-20.5 loss to the Wildasin Promotions Team. In cart #1 Brett Keeney shot a 44 and lost 3-7 in the A position. Ride along partner Eric Willet shot a 37 and won 7-3 in the B position. In cart #2, Ryan Cool shot a 39 and won 7-3 in the C position. Ride along partner Andrew Rucker shot a 54 and lost 2.5-7.5 in the D position. BOPS will remain in 10th place this week. The boys in Orange will give it another go around next week vs DCI Management.

The BOPS Golf Team returned to the Bridges for week #12 of the 2009 season on Wednesday and they made it two wins in a row. BOPS posted a 21-19 win over Kelly's Painting on position night. In cart #1 Brett Keeney shot a 39 and won 7-3 in the A position. Ride along partner Eric Willet shot a 43 and lost 4-6 in the B position. In cart #2, Jeremy Noel shot a 47 and lost 3-7 in the C position. Ride along partner Dave Rentsel shot a 48 and won 7-3 in the D position. BOPS move up again this week from 12th to 10th place. The boys in Orange will give it another go around next week vs Wildasin Promotions.

The BOPS Golf Team returned to the Bridges for week #11 of the 2009 season on Wednesday and this time they walked away with a huge win. BOPS posted a 28.5-11.5 stomping to the Leer Photography team. In cart #1 Brett Keeney shot a 42 and won 6-4 in the A position. Ride along partner Ryan Cool shot a 42 and won 7-3 in the B position. In cart #2, Andrew Rucker shot a 45 and won 8.5-1.5 in the C position. Ride along partner Dave Rentsel shot a 40 and won 7-3 in the D position. BOPS move up from last place to 12th out of 16 teams after this weeks performance. The boys in Orange will give it another go around next week on position night.

The BOPS Golf Team returned to the Bridges for week #10 of the 2009 season on Wednesday and chaulked once again, a big L. BOPS took a 16-24 loss to the Totally Plastered team. In cart #1 Brett Keeneyl shot a 43 and lost 4-6 in the A position. Ride along partner Eric Willet shot a 43 and lost 3-7 in the B position. In cart #2, Ryan Cool shot a 46 and lost 3.5-7.5 in the C position. Ride along partner Jeremy Noel shot a 50 and lost 3.5-7.5 in the D position. BOPS dip down to 16th out of 16 teams. The boys in Orange will give it another go around next week when they take on Leer Photography.

The BOPS Golf Team returned to the Bridges for week #9 of the 2009 season on Wednesday and chaulked up a big L. BOPS took a 17-23 loss to the JW Homes team. In cart #1 Ryan Cool shot a 45 and lost 4-6 in the A position. Ride along partner Andrew Rucker shot a 46 and won 7-3 in the B position. In cart #2, Dave Rentsel shot a 54 and won 5.5-4.5 in the C position. Ride along partner Dan Arter shot a 70 and lost 0.5-9.5 in the D position. BOPS will stay at 13th out of 16 teams. The boys in Orange will give it another go around next week when they take on Totally Plastered Inc.

The BOPS Golf Team returned to the Bridges for week #8 of the 2009 season on Wednesday, and finally picked up a win. BOPS took a big 27.5-12.5 victory over the Kelly's Painting team. In cart #1 Ryan Cool shot a 41 and won 7-3 in the A position. Ride along partner Eric Willet shot a 38 and won 8.5-1.5 in the B position. In cart #2, Jeremy Noel shot a 41 and won 8.5-1.5 in the C position. Ride along partner Dave Rentsel shot a 58 and lost 4-6 in the D position. BOPS moved up 3 spots in the standings this week to 13th out of 16 teams. The boys in Orange will give it another go around next week when they take on JW Homes.

The BOPS Golf Team returned to the Bridges for week #7 of the 2009 season on Wednesday, and the losing streak continues. BOPS took a 17.5-22.5 loss to the Rendezvous Lounge team. In cart #1 Brett Keeney shot a 38 and won 7.5-2.5 in the A position. Ride along partner Eric Willet shot a 44 and tied 5-5 in the B position. In cart #2, Dave Rentsel shot a 57 and lost 4-6 in the C position. Ride along partner Roger Noel shot a 68 and lost 1-9 in the D position. BOPS currently are in 16th place out of 16 teams total. BOPS will give it another go around next week when they take on Kelly's Painting.

BOPS GOLF TEAM GETS WASHED OUT AFTER 3
The BOPS Golf Team returned to the Bridges for week #6 of the 2009 season on Wednesday, but heavy soaking rains that arrived while the team was on hole three washed the night out. If four holes would have been completed the match would be official, but mother nature didn't allow it. The match against Kelly's Painting will be made up on the 20th.

The BOPS Golf Team didn't show up to the Bridges for week #4 of the season on Wednesday due to the day long soaking rains. The following day the team found out the the league still played and BOPS was handed a 0-24 forfeiting lost to Johnny's Auto.

The BOPS Golf Team returned to the Bridges for the 2009 season opener try number 2 on Wednesday, and this time we got one in the books. BOPS took a close 18-22 lost to the DJ's Tavern team. In cart #1 Ryan Cool shot a 44 and lost 3.5-6.5 in the A position. Ride along partner Jeremy Noel shot a 48 and won 7-3 in the B position. In cart #2, Dave Rentsel shot a 53 and lost 4.5-5.5 in the C position. Ride along partner Roger Noel shot a 67 and lost 3-7 in the D position. BOPS will give it another go around next week when they take on Johnny's Auto.

BOPS GOLF TEAM TAKE 2ND PLACE IN LEAGUE SCRAMBLE
The BOPS Golf Team shot the back 9 on Wednesday evening at the Bridges for the season ending Team Scramble Challenge. Brett Keeney, Eric Willet , Jeremy Noel and Dan Arter combined to shot 6 under par, just 2 strokes away from away from taking the first place prize money. BOPS walked away finishing in 2nd place while collecting $76.00 which went towards the league fees and well...some grub and coldies afterwords.

The BOPS shot the back 9 on Tuesday evening at the Bridges for week #19 of the 2008 season. Brett Keeney won 6.5-3.5 (40) in the A position. Eric Willet lost 3.5-6.5 (42) in the B position. Jeremy Noel won 6-4 (52) in the C position and Dan Arter lost 2-8 (62) in the D position. The final score was BOPS 19 and Remax 21. BOPS move to 9-8-1 overall on the season and are in 9th place out of 16 total teams.

Andrew Rucker won 9-1 (48) in the C position and Dave Rentsel lost 3-7 (62) in the D position. The final score was BOPS 21 and South Bound 19. BOPS pick up their 5th straight win. BOPS move to 8-5 overall on the season and have advanced another spot to 5th place out of 16 total teams.

Eric Willet won 6.5-3.5 (39) in the B position. Al Kuhn won 7.5-2.5 (42) in the C position and Jeremy Noel lost 3-7 (50) in the D position. The final score was BOPS 23 and A Day in Paradise 17. BOPS continue to soar and have posted 4 straight wins. BOPS move to 7-5 overall on the season and have advanced 6 spots in the last 4 weeks into the 6th place out of 16 total teams.

The BOPS returned to the front 9 on Wednesday evening at the Bridges for week #11 of the 2008 season. Brett Keeney won 7-3 in the A position. Doug Meckley lost 2 to 8 in the B position. Andrew Rucker won 8 to 0 in the C position and Dave Rentsel won 6 to 0 in the D position. BOPS had another great night and have posted 3 straight wins. BOPS move to 6-5 overall on the season and have advanced into the 8th place out of 16 total teams.

BOPS move to 5-5 overall on the season and will wait for the revised standings, but should move up a few spot with the points they picked up. Last week BOPS was 11th place out of 16 total teams.

Dave Rentsel lost 2 to 8 in the C position and Dan Arter won 7 to 3 in the D position. BOPS had a great night and got back into the winning column. BOPS move to 4-5 overall on the season and will wait for the revised standings, but should move up. Last week BOPS was 12th place out of 16 total teams.

Jeremy Noel lost 2.5 to 8.5 in the C position and Dave Rentsel tied 5 to 5 in the D position. BOPS had another pretty good night overall on the course, but came up short in the end. BOPS slip to 3-5 overall on the season and have fallen to 12th place out of 16 total teams.

The BOPS rolled their carts around on the front 9 on Wednesday evening at the Bridges for week #7 of the 2008 season. Al (Scooter) Kuhn, Jr. lost 2-8 in the A position. Andrew Rucker won 7 to 3 in the B position. Dave Rentsel won 6 to 4 in the C position and Eric Willet lost 4.5 to 5.5 in the D position. BOPS had a great night on the course and it was down to the wire, but came up short in the end. BOPS slip to 3-4 overall on the season and continue to hold the 11th place out of 16 total teams.

The Golf Team hit up the front side of the Bridges for week #3 of the 2008 season. The previous 2 weeks before BOPS walked away with wins and they hoped to continue that streak, but in the end they came up short. Doug Meckley lost 7.5-2.5 in the A position. Dave Rentsel won 5.5-4.5 in the B position. Andrew Rucker tied 5-5 in the C position and Dan Arter lost 7.5-3.5 in the D position. The team is currently in 4th place out of 18 total teams.
